TraumaCare: the OCIRP Foundation renews its commitment
As a major social insurance organization, OCIRP (non-profit union of provident institutions) has always supported people facing hardships such as bereavement, illness, disability and caregiving.
A Paris Brain Institute partner since 2011, OCIRP supports research into major conditions such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, as well as the neurological and psychiatric effects of Covid-19.
Underlining its commitment to autonomy, the OCIRP corporate foundation is currently pledging its support to the TraumaCare project, a mobile app developed by Paris Brain Institute’s CareLab in collaboration with Paris Medical and Psychological Emergency Unit (CUMP).
This innovation aims to improve the understanding, screening, treatment and monitoring of people suffering from post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD) following a traumatic event – a promising step forward for patients and their loved ones.
