On September 9th, 2025, Paris Brain Institute had the honour of organising a fundraising cocktail at Christie’s London, dedicated to brain tumour research. This event marks a new stage in the Institute’s development in Europe.

The night opened with a presentation by Brian Lau, Scientific Director of the Institute, who outlined the mission of Paris Brain Institute and its collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to better understanding and treating diseases of the nervous system.

Two scientific highlights punctuated the evening: presentations by Dr Mehdi Touat (Paris Brain Institute) and Dr Sophie Postel-Vinay (UCL London), who presented the latest advances in research on brain tumours and epigenetics. Both emphasised the importance of international collaboration in developing new treatments for these rare and particularly aggressive cancers.

The evening was made possible thanks to the commitment of the Institute’s network of donors and supporters, who collectively contribute to its research programmes, which aim to accelerate discoveries and transform them into therapies for patients.
