Exploring the Gut–Brain Connection – Exclusive Online Event

On Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 5 pm CET, Paris Brain Institute will host the next edition of its quarterly online conversation series, a private digital event designed exclusively for major donors and partners around the world. This series provides international supporters who cannot visit the Institute in person with a unique opportunity to stay closely connected to the latest breakthroughs in neuroscience.
The session will feature Dafni Hadjieconomou, Team Leader of GutSense (gut-brain axis communication and physiology) at Paris Brain Institute, who will explore the fascinating connections between our gut and our brain. Attendees will gain firsthand insight into how the gut, through its vast microbiota, can influence brain functions such as decision-making and contribute to neurological conditions like multiple sclerosis, revealing the critical yet still mysterious role of gut–brain neural circuits in overall health.
The event will run for approximately 45–60 minutes, including a 20–30 minute presentation followed by 15–30 minutes of Q&A, allowing for direct interaction with the researcher and a deeper understanding of the work shaping tomorrow’s neuroscience.
Paris Brain Institute emphasizes that spaces are limited to ensure a high-quality exchange, giving participants the opportunity to engage with the scientists leading these pioneering studies.
