Paris Brain Institute America Dinner 2024
Philanthropy in support of transatlantic research into brain diseases.
2024 was the first full fiscal year of Paris Brain Institute America (PBIA), our US foundation launched in New York in 2023 under the leadership of Martine Assouline. The purpose of the Foundation is to provide crucial support for Paris Brain Institute’s collaborative research projects carried out in partnership with top US universities. In 2024, thanks in particular to the annual charity dinner held on October 8 at the French Consulate in New York and attended by Mr. Laurent Bili, Ambassador of France to the United States and Mr. Cédrik Fouriscot, Consul General of France in New York, PBIA enabled Paris Brain Institute to launch two transatlantic research projects: the first in partnership with Harvard Medical School on glioblastomas, led by Dr. Mehdi Touat, and the second on severe head injuries in partnership with Columbia University, led by Dr. Jacobo Sitt.
