Collaboration without borders

Paris Brain Institute aspires to become a leading medical and scientific research center, where global expertise comes together to share ideas, test new hypotheses, and innovate. The DIVERSE project aims to boost research by encouraging international collaborations. Given the limitations of traditional funding, which often hinders innovation, this initiative offers flexible support to explore bold, high-impact ideas.

OUR CHALLENGE

Proposing new financing and international collaboration mechanisms

Paris Brain Institute has identified specific mechanisms that would contribute to its international development and strengthen neuroscience research worldwide.

The project focuses on two main areas:

  • iBBT – The objective of the international BBT program is to fund innovative, multidisciplinary projects by collaborating with the best experts available in our international network of excellence.

  • International expertise – The project is developing a visiting professor program and recruiting fellows to strengthen key areas such as imaging and big data analysis.

MAJOR ADVANCES

Three innovative iBBT projects have been launched, focusing on the detection of dementia symptoms, social brain networks, and immunotherapy for glioblastoma. Initiatives to recruit the best international experts are intensifying, enabling the Institute to remain at the forefront of advanced neuroscience research.
